Last night I was literally swept off my feet.

Last night I was literally swept off my feet.

This blog was written by my friend:
Raquel Granda
(athlete and Group Fitness Instructor)

I wasn't planning on dancing at Stepping Out Dance Studios.  I was only there to help Patty Rose out with one of her projects.  However, once you are out on the dance floor, someone is bound to take your hand and that is exactly what happend to me.

I have never hustle danced with someone before...okay, maybe I've tried to boogie down to 70s music, but I certainly have never had someone show me what to do.  The dancer I was with was so great...he literally moved me from one place to another and in a few minutes I was gliding.

WHAT A WORK OUT!

I was sweating up a storm by the second song.  I do a lot of aerobic exercising and weight training...but I never thought that I could just as easily burn a lot of calories by "shaking my bootie"

I certainly plan on going back and want Patty to show me her moves....it was a great time and I plan on doing it again!

Stepping Out Studios has a hustle Dance Party every Wednesay night starting at 9:30.
It is hosted by instructors Simone Assboeck & David Padilla.
